If you are already registered for the congress and would like to attend the interactive workshop “How to Improve Therapeutic Adherence” on Saturday, June 25 (see programme here) or buy a ticket to attend the CEDA Evening on Friday, June 24, please contact us at to add this to your registration.
In case it will not be feasible to hold the congress onsite, it will go virtually and your existing registration will remain valid. Further details will be announced, should this be necessary
CEDA offers travel grants for the CEDA 2022 congress to support participation of young diabetologists. Due to its limited number, support by sponsoring companies should be sought first.
The following terms and conditions apply:
Applicants must be active CEDA members or candidates who are about to become a CEDA member (submission of the membership form together with the application is possible; 20 € annual fee).
Applicant age below 40 years.
The applicant must be author of an accepted abstract.
The maximal amount for a travel grant is € 500 upon the production of receipts for travel, accomodation and registration.
Applications have to be sent by email to Mag. Vera Potuzak (t) at least two weeks before the congress and have to include information on the abstract along with its approval statement, dated and signed CV. Receipts must be sent within two weeks after the congress at the latest. In case of applications exceeding the number of grants, travel grants will be assigned on a first come first served principle.

Bank transfer to the account “CEDA 2022”: Further information as well as an invoice will be sent to you electronical by email after completed registration. Please note that the participant’s name as well as the invoice number is indicated within the bank transaction to allow an allocation of the payment.
Credit Cards: Euro/Mastercard and Visa.
The reduced registration fee is only applicable if it has been credited to the congress account before the respective deadline. Registering before the respective deadlines without making the actual payment is not sufficient to benefit from the reduction.
Confirmation of Registration
You will receive written confirmation of registration by mail when the registration form has been received and the payment has been credited to the congress account. Kindly note that payments made within 2 weeks prior to the conference cannot be confirmed in writing. If you made a bank transfer within this period, it will be essential to bring a proof of payment of your registration fee when collecting the registration material.
After June 17, 2022, pre-registration will be closed. Onsite registration will not be possible.
Cancellations and refunds
Provided you are a consumer, you have the right to withdraw from this online registration order within 14 days without giving any reason by law. The right of withdrawal is excluded if the delegate has requested access to the conference prior the 14-day withdrawal period.
Your registration is legally binding. Notice of cancellation must be made in writing by registered letter or fax to the Congress Office.

The date of the postmark or fax ID will be the basis for considering refunds. Please indicate the preferred method of reimbursement (bank transfer, incl. account number) on your written cancellation. Refunds will be made after the congress.
In case of cancellation of the conference, the organizer reserves the right to refund the participation fee minus a handling fee.
Certificate of Attendance
Certificates of attendance will be sent electronical by email after the conference upon completion of an online survey.
The official language of the congress will be English (no simultaneous translation)
To avoid the spread of Covid-19 and to guarantee a safe congress for our participants and industry partners, the congress organisers will strictly follow the rules stated at the time as issued by the Austrian authorities.
For the duration of the congress, any legal regulations in force at the time of the event shall apply. Prior to the congress, the relevant regulations will be published without delay on the conference website in accordance with the governmental decrees. With your registration and participation in the congress, you engage to comply with the applicable regulations.
